May 20, 2024 · Orthophotoquads are black and white aerial photos of the same scale as drawn topographic maps (1:24,000). This series was done in the late 1960's and 1970's. The library has limited holdings of these for western Montana. These maps are filed by topographic quad name in the Archives and Special Collections Montana Room. Soil Surveys
6 days ago · GN Turntable at Boeing. My new job has me in the main Boeing factory building in Everett, WA. Each day at lunch a friend and I go for a walk for exercise purposes. Today we walked thru the rail yard adjacent to the factory area and lo and behold, what did we find but a turntable build by American Bridge Co., Lassig Div., Chicago, IL, in 1900.
