    May 3, 2024 · Turns out it was very easy, but I haven't seen this solution anywhere. Delete the old Cox account under Settings -> Mail. Add a new account. Select Yahoo! It will ask you to sign in - use your old Cox email address as your username: jdoe@cox.net and then click next.
