Aug 16, 2024 · There must be a switched power source connected to D+ for this alternator to work. You can use the F+ lead (brown-purple) for this, or switch to the Bosch circuit, which eliminates the 3AW. You can keep your old voltage regulator in place just for show, it won’t be doing anything.
Aug 14, 2024 · Figured the wire with power on with key on goes on the D+ terminal and then the tack wire on the W+. Those wire have the nut attached to the terminal, so I know those for sure go on separate studs. The fuse was blown to the wire that had power with Key on.
5 days ago · Leisure battery alternator. I know that a switched bulb is used between the D+ and B+ terminals but the idea of using the oil pressure switch appeals to me. Especially if it means I don't have to worry about switching it in and out of circuit.
