May 18, 2024 · I'm with those who suspect it probably originated with Gabriel Dell. I searched the internet (YouTube) and couldn't find a single clip of Dell doing his Dracula. A couple of stills, but no video. He was doing that impression on the Steve Allen show in the late '50s / early '60s.
