ABOUT. Founded in 1998, Stone Village Films is an independent, privately owned media finance and production company led by Producer and industry maverick Scott Steindorff. Dylan Russell joined the company shortly after its founding and the Producers have worked together for over 20 year.
In 1998, Steindorff formed the film production company Stone Village Productions. His first acquisition was "Night Magic" by Tom Tryon, to be adapted for a movie and for the stage. In 2012, his company expanded into a joint venture with Exclusive Media.
Scott Steindorff began his career as a prominent real estate developer that built large shopping centers in the Southwest and the Midwest. He also built large land developments and retail communities throughout the US while also being involved in his family’s real estate endeavors.
