While I love Diary of Anne Frank and The Nun’s Story, I feel the Academy got the Original Score Oscar right in giving it to Ben-Hur, a score which made an already great film even better (the Adaptation or Treatment category that year I disagree with, however, but that’s a subject for another thread).
