Axel Ferdinand Konstantin Prahl ist ein deutscher Schauspieler, Synchronsprecher und Musiker. Einem breiten Publikum ist er seit 2002 als Kriminalhauptkommissar Frank Thiel im Münsteraner Tatort bekannt.

In 2003, Axel Prahl won the Bavarian film award as "Best actor" for his role as snack bar owner Uwe Kukowski in Andreas Dresen's successful tragicomedy "Halbe Treppe" ("Grill Point"). At this point in time, the down-to-earth man in the streets had already become Prahl's signature role.
