1. Broads Fork Trail. Distance: about 4.7 miles roundtrip. Elevation Gain: 2046 feet. Difficulty: Moderate. I think this is one of the most underrated hikes in Big Cottonwood Canyon! The trail is beautiful and the view from the basin is awesome! It’s overall a moderate hike with a few steep sections.
Big Cottonwood Canyon is a beautiful place, and it is just a couple of minutes away from Salt Lake City. There are countless hikes, campgrounds, and places to explore in both this canyon and Little Cottonwood Canyon, which is nearby. Definitely a must-see.
