Best guess was 50-60 people midday, probably 90-95% clothed but no issues for the few of us who enjoyed the springs the way they were intended to be enjoyed. Brent, the owner of the campground, enjoyed some time in the womb and it was great and interesting talking to him and learning more about the history and stories about his neighbor.
May 7, 2024 · Deep Creek is one of the best hot springs in California! The hike is 2.5 miles one way and you have to cross the Mojave River at one point, so wear something that can get wet. I recommend going during the weekdays to avoid the many weekend campers and thru-hikers. This way, you can have the most relaxing hot spring soak.
