Synopsis. Mike Windgren arrives in Acapulco as a sailor on a yacht. When he loses his position, Raoul, a shoeshine boy who has heard him sing, becomes his manager and gets him a job as both a fill-in singer for the temperamental featured performer at the Hilton Hotel and as siesta-time fill-in for Moreno, lifeguard at the hotel pool.
