Gregory John Stanton (born March 8, 1970) is an American lawyer and politician who is the U.S. representative from Arizona's 4th congressional district, serving since 2019. A Democrat, he was previously mayor of Phoenix from 2012 to 2018, and was on the Phoenix City Council from 2000 until 2009.
Throughout his career, Greg Stanton has worked tirelessly to deliver results for Arizona families. Serving as Phoenix mayor from 2012 to 2018, he focused on building an economy rooted in innovation and trade.
Arizona's 4th Congressional District is entirely within Maricopa County. The district includes all of Tempe, the Ahwatukee Village of Phoenix, and large parts of Mesa and Chandler.
