Once you have the eircode you can apply for broadband connection. If you are building they generally say to apply for the eircode once you start blocklaying. Register the address with An Post. An Post send the new addresses to Eircode each quarter. Eircode will assign an Eircode and will update their systems.

Eircode on google maps. We're in the final stages of purchasing a new built property and after a month or two there is finally an eircode on eircode finder. No luck with google maps though. We tried adding it manually but didn't manage either. Did anyone else have this problem?
