Anyone who watched Mary and The Witch's Flower? I felt it was ok in terms of the story and characters-i liked its Ghibli-esque animation style and the music. Although it's not a Ghibli movie, it reall looked like one, though it really lacked the main aspects of a Ghibli movie, such as depth, a cast of unique characters, a good storyline, etc.
May 5, 2024 · Lovers of Studio Ghibli should check out other fantastic anime movies and series, like Mary and the Witch's Flower and Penguin Highway. 2002's The Cat Returns is a frequently overlooked Studio Ghibli film. Despite its relative obscurity, The Cat Returns did receive one of the better English dubs.
