Milton is a city and the county seat of Santa Rosa County, Florida. It is located within the Pensacola—Ferry Pass—Brent, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. Milton is located in the geographic center of Santa Rosa County, and it is bordered by Pace to the west and Navarre to the south.

The City of Milton commemorated its 30th Arbor Day with a tree planting ceremony at Milton High School. A 3-foot Caliper Live Oak, locally sourced from Panhandle Growers, was planted on the east side of the campus near the anchor along Stewart Street.
