Neil Abercrombie (born June 26, 1938, in Buffalo, New York) is the former Democratic Governor of Hawaii. He served in this position from December 2010 to December 1, 2014. Abercrombie was elected governor on November 2, 2010, having won the Democratic nomination over Mufi Hannemann in the September 18 primary.
