Perry Bedden was born on October 1, 1951 in London, England as Pierre Marcelin Bedenes, to a French father and British mother. In 1963, at 12, he played Kurt in the Original London production of The Sound Of Music with Mary Martin, and went on to play Friedrich, as he grew taller.
