May 17, 2024 · I'm wanting to test the playback head on the Pioneer RT-707 that is weak on the right channel. In the past I have simply used the continuity and resistance function of multimeter but have heard that this can permanently magnetise the head due to on off of DC current.

May 13, 2024 · The BX-300 is arguably the best bang for the buck among the many excellent Nak decks. They are definitely budget friendly for the quality. I have purchased two in the past ~18 months, each below ~$200 and each requiring only fairly routine refurbishment and alignment for decks of the age.
