  3. A short review. This film needs to be looked at again, not as a period epic but as some good, honest entertainment. A "swashbuckler" in the true sense of the word, 'The Man In The Iron Mask' is worth a look. If you can believe the premise that the King Louis has a secret twin you're half way to enjoying this film.
