USS Turner Joy (DD-951) is one of 18 Forrest Sherman-class destroyers of the United States Navy. She was named for Admiral Charles Turner Joy USN (1895–1956). Commissioned in 1959, she spent her entire career in the Pacific.

Turner Joy’s distinctive service included a double-duty role as flagship for Destroyer Squadron 13 and Destroyer Division 131 with several tours in the Pacific. She also stood air-sea rescue duty near the Marianas Islands for President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s visit to several Asian nations.
The USS TURNER JOY is located on the Bremerton Boardwalk within an easy walk of the Seattle Ferry Terminal and the Harborside Convention Center. A Washington State Ferry serves the route from Downtown Seattle – Bremerton. The ferry from Seattle takes about an hour.
