6 days ago · 1. I can seek an amp tech and spend the money getting diagnosed and repaired. 2. I can try rolling some tubes in it and see if thats the issue ( I do have some 12xx7 tubes at hand) 3. I can try to sell it "as is" with an honest description of it's status. 4. I can just give it away.
1 day ago · Hey guys, so I've got an Ampeg SVT-200T solid state bass head that's going to a 4x10 cabinet which is having some issues at the moment and I'd like to see if I can fix it - if I can get some leads on what to look for. I've confirmed that the cabinet is not the problem as I drove it without issue from another amp (also with the same cables).
