[1] He was the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers (1956-1971) and the MVP of the first two Super Bowls. He went to the Pro Bowl four times.

Starr held several NFL passing records, including the lifetime record of completing 57.4 percent of his passes over a 16-year period. He led the league in passing three times. He was the NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1966. He won MVP honors in both Super Bowls I and II. Bart was at his best in his many postseason appearances.
Starr is the only quarterback in NFL history to lead a team to three consecutive league championships ( 1965 – 1967 ). He led his team to victories in the first two Super Bowls: I and II. As the Packers' head coach, he was less successful, compiling a 52–76–3 ( .408) record from 1975 through 1983.
