Cannon Mountain, located in Franconia Notch State Park offers 11 lifts servicing 285 acres of skiing (192 with snowmaking), 25 miles of trails and has the only aerial tramway in New Hampshire.
At the top of Cannon Mountain and along the Kinsman Ridge Trail, there are phenomenal views and alpine forest. This trail is steep, with some sections of scrambling, eroded dirt, and rocky areas. Cannon Mountain is a peak in the White Mountains range of New Hampshire.
Experience this 7.1-mile loop trail near Franconia, New Hampshire. Generally considered a challenging route. This is a popular trail for backpacking, birding, and camping, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are May through October.
