NEWPORT, R.I. (WEDNESDAY, June 12, 2024) – With election season getting underway, the City of Newport is looking for individuals interested in serving as Poll Workers for the upcoming primary and general elections.
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life and protect the public interest through sound environmental policies, enforcing codes and ordinances, and provide efficient public services in the areas of solid waste management, recycling, and public works.
City Hall. Located at 43 Broadway, just up from the City's historic town center at Washington Square, Newport's City Hall was constructed at the end of the 19th Century by local architect J.D. Johnston.
