Jan 4, 2018 · Coffee House Press (CHP) is a respected literary press with a great reputation. They are only open for short submission periods. You have to sign up to be notified of the next submission period on their website. These periods are capped at 200 submissions, so submit early.
Mar 22, 2024 · Coffee House Press publishes literary novels, full-length short story collections, poetry, creative nonfiction, book-length essays, and essay collections. CHP does not accept submissions of anthologies or books for children or young adults.
How to Submit: Coffee House Press says it will start accepting submissions through its Submittable form on September 1, 2018. The number of submissions accepted will be capped at 300 so if you plan to submit you should be ready to go in early September. Response Time: up to 4–6 months, or longer.
