You don’t need a lift to fit bigger tires. I fit 295/70/18 (34”) on stock height with light rubbing that was fixed with a heat gun. What matters more is the offset of the wheels and whether you’ll rub on upper control arm, skid plate, etc. I ended up adding a 3”/3” lift after wheels and tires.
