From space, the earth is a fake model and it looks so unbelievably fake. The earth in Generations and other movies around this time look fine, they are typically real life photos or video footage of the earth. But the earth in First Contact looks like someone painted a bowling ball. It actually made me laugh out loud.

I should also have Star Trek: Insurrection (1998) finished by the end of the day as well.
May 17, 2024 · Star Trek: First Contact's events almost stopped the Borg from appearing in Star Trek: Voyager, but luckily, the show was still able to use the Borg in later seasons. First Contact premiered during the airing of Voyager season 3 and was one of the more well-received movies focusing on the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
