I was nerding through wikipedia about the movie I Robot when i noticed something. I looked at the original stories, written by (drumroll) Isaac Asimov. I know Isaac (Orville one) says he chose his name after a famous Mathematician. Obviously Newton. But i dont think thats why the writers chose the name.
