The Smiths, Duran Duran, The Cure, The Clash, A Flock of Seagulls, Adam and the Ants, Ultravox, Depeche Mode, Echo & the Bunnymen, Kajagoogoo, Til Tuesday, Psychedelic Furs, Simple Minds,... but there are many obscure bands and many sound very good IMO...
