Mandy has slowly becoming one of my go to horror movies in recent times. It's a neon dark urban fantasy grind house epic with an excellent cast. I see the movie as a successor to works such as Berserk or Phantasm because Mandy is ultimately a story about grief, and pain.

If you listened to the chickenwackers ep and are looking for more lore I highly recommend the film Mandy by Panos Cosmatos. Fair warning, the content is pretty disturbing and violent, but essentially follows the exact same themes down to location.
