May 16, 2024 · Interstates 70/71 Reconstruction – I-70/71 will experience lane restrictions through downtown Columbus to widen and reconstruct the roadway, replace bridges over the interstate, rebuild ramps, and construct new urban avenues parallel to the interstate. Various downtown ramps will permanently close. Estimated completion: Fall 2025.
