  2. Discussion. Obviously not a Ghibli movie, but certainly one of the most "Ghibli-adjacent" movies ever made. Finally watched this after putting it off forever. When Marnie Was There is my favorite Ghibli movie but I always heard Mary and the Witch's Flower, the follow-up from Marnie director Hiromasa Yonebayashi, wasn't great.
