Jul 31, 2019 · The film is inferior to the serial, but is nevertheless enjoyable if you take it for what it is, and Richard Wordsworth is memorable as the tragic astronaut helplessly mutating into something inhuman. The quality here is not brilliant, but watchable. Here is the Hammer Film based on the first Serial by Nigel Kneal.
