REW-FFWD is an early docu-fiction short film from Denis Villeneuve that centres around a photographer’s visit to Jamaica. It’s quite incoherent in places but it’s easy to spot the areas that the director would later go and perfect, such as the viewer’s lack of control and the critical look at human flaws, which is interesting to see.
