Magic Island is a small man-made peninsula in Honolulu, Hawaii, adjacent to Ala Moana Beach Park and the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor. [1] It was created in 1964 as the site of a resort complex, but was subsequently converted to a park. [2]
This artificial island is a favorite with locals for picnicking, playing frisbee, or simply hanging out. Magic Island hosts many popular events and festivals throughout the year, including a spectacular fireworks display every Fourth of July.

Magic Island is a manmade peninsula at the east end of Ala Moana Beach Park. It features large seawalls and a shallow lagoon for children to enjoy swimming in calm waters. All throughout Ala Moana Beach Park has many picnic tables under trees making it an ideal location for family gatherings.
