10/10. One of the best movies throughout the history of film. Marc-00 9 March 2001. The directing (by Hasse Alfredson) and the cinematography (by Rolf Lindström and Jörgen Persson) are excellent. During the whole movie the audience can hear the bittersweet tones of Verdi's Requiem.

The simple-minded murderer expertly crafted a simplistic storyline of horrific wealthy businessmen against an honest feeble-minded Sven was a harrowing experience. Stellan Skarsgård's magnificent bittersweet performances brung a purity to the oppression the character is forced to suffer.
