Howdy Doody is an American children's television program (with circus and Western frontier themes) that was created and produced by Victor F. Campbell [1] and E. Roger Muir. [2] It was broadcast on the NBC television network in the United States from December 27, 1947, until September 24, 1960.

The Howdy Doody Show was the creation of Robert E. Smith (1917-1998), a former radio personality, who appeared along with his wooden counterpart at first on a weekly basis and later five days a week from Monday through Friday, starting at 5:30 in the afternoon.
Howdy told Buffalo Bob to get something special from a hidden shelf in the wall and so he did a scarf with Howdy Doody, Mr.Bluster, Victor and Clarabell. This gift is something worth 500 marbles to Mr. Bluster and he accepts it.
