The Awesomes is an American adult animated comedy television series created by Seth Meyers and Mike Shoemaker for Hulu. Meyers and Shoemaker serve as executive producers alongside Lorne Michaels. It debuted on August 1, 2013 and ended on November 3, 2015.
With Ike Barinholtz, Taran Killam, Bobby Lee, Seth Meyers. After the legendary Mr. Awesome retires as leader of his superhero task force, his not-so-super son Prock must assemble a team of funny-if-flawed misfits to restore the group to its former glory.
Professor Doctor Awesome also know as "Prock" or Jeremy is the young leader of the new Awesomes' lineup. Prock has a JD and an MD, but has always wanted to be a superhero like his father, Mr. Awesome.
The Awesomes are the successors to the group left vacant after Mr. Awesome retired and his chosen lineup decided to go their separate ways. They are led by Mr Awesome's son, Professor Doctor Awesome. They compose the main cast of the Hulu original series of the same name.
