Charles McKeown (/ m ə ˈ k juː ən / mə-KEW-ən; born 1946) is a British actor and writer, perhaps best known for his collaborations with Terry Gilliam. The two met while shooting Monty Python's Life of Brian, while McKeown was doing bit parts in the film.

Charles McKeown is a British writer and actor who, along with director Terry Gilliam, put together the script for The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus. I spoke with McKeown in January 2008, as the UK shoot drew to a close, just a few days before Heath Ledger died.
Biography. British actor Charles McKeown attended the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and, in the early 1970s, began to get small roles in English television shows such as "Late Night Theatre" and the children's series "Inigo Pipkin."
