Dec 10, 2012 · News. Colin McKean, the 36-year-old son of actor Michael McKean, has been identified as one of two men who died of suspected heroin overdoses in Ashland last week. Ashland police Deputy Chief Corey Falls said Colin McKean was found dead by a family member at his home in the 700 block of North Laurel Street shortly after 8 p.m. on Dec. 3.

Jan 19, 2013 · In December, Colin McKean and Jordan Roth died of similar causes. “What’s unusual in this case is we normally have one accidental fatal overdose a year,” Terry Holderness, Ashland Police Chief. Drug use has been a growing issue in the Rogue Valley for the past several years. Officials say that most drugs are easily coming up the I-5 corridor.
