Biography. Milton Holmes worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Holmes's career beginnings included film roles in "A Ship Comes In" (1928) and "The Spy" (1931). Later in his career, Holmes produced the comedy "Mr. Soft Touch" (1949) with Glenn Ford.
Milton Holmes, the co-screenwriter of the film, once worked as a tennis pro at the Beverly Hills Tennis Club. While there he had the opportunity to meet many stars and studio executives. One day he approached Cary Grant with the storyline for Mr. Lucky.
