Margalit Ruth "Maggie" Gyllenhaal (/ ˈ dʒ ɪ l ə n h ɔː l / JIL-ən-hawl, Swedish: [ˈjʏ̂lːɛnˌhɑːl]; born November 16, 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker.
