Mitchell Donald "Mitch" Hurwitz (born May 29, 1963) is an American television writer, producer, and actor. He is best known as the creator of the television sitcom Arrested Development as well as the co-creator of The Ellen Show.
Mitchell Hurwitz is a California-born creator and executive producer of Arrested Development, Lady Dynamite, Running Wilde and other TV series. He has won three Primetime Emmys and has been married to Mary Jo Keenen since 1999.
