Frank Hübner (born 16 October 1950) is a German sailor and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in the 470 Class with Harro Bode at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal He was also a producer for the 2002 Film Whale Rider.

Biography. Frank Hübner sailed with Harro Bode at the 1976 Montréal Olympics in the Olympic Yachting Center at Kingston, Ontario, in the West German two-person dinghy (470) and won the gold medal. Therefore, they were awarded the Silver Bay Leaf, Germany’s highest sports award.
This event came down to the final race, which was won by the West German crew of Frank Hübner and Harro Bode, enabling them to move ahead of the Spanish crew of Antonio Gorostegui and Pedro Millet and win the gold medal. Of the medalists, only Gorostegui would ever compete at the Olympics again and this was his only medal.
