Apr 5, 1991 · Before the Second World War started, Setton was sent to Hollywood as legal adviser to get Laughton a job with Maureen O’Hara and RKO [Studios] (The Hunchback of Notre Dame). Setton joined the Army on his return to the UK on the outbreak of war.
Mayflower Productions. The company was re-activated in the late 1940s as "Mayflower Productions", the company of Maxwell Setton and Aubrey Baring. It made seven films, mostly action stories, before the company was dissolved. The company initially borrowed money from Rank or ABPC.
