Mar 14, 2024 · DOUGLAS - Veteran council member and community activist Mitch Lindemann resigned from his post on the City Council Wednesday evening so that he can continue his quest for a seat on the Cochise County Board of Supervisors. Mr. Lindemann has served the City of Douglas on the Planning and Zoning commission as member, Vice Chairman, and Chairman from 1994 to 2005. He was elected Councilman representing Ward Two in 2006, 2010, 2018, and again in 2022 where he currently serves.
