Marc Tolon Brown (born November 25, 1946) is an American author and illustrator of children's books. Brown writes as well as illustrates the Arthur book series and is best known for creating that series and its numerous spin-offs.

Tolon Brown. Tolon Adam Brown (born August 17, 1972) is a producer for Arthur, and the son of Marc Brown. He has also written two episodes. His name can be found hidden in almost all of the Arthur books (e.g. Arthur's Eyes when Arthur accidentally goes into the girls' bathroom).
