MARY JANE CARR has lived in the Pacific Northwest all her life. She was born and grew up with four sisters and four brothers in Portland, Oregon. She attended both high school and Marylhurst College there. After college Miss Carr joined The Catholic Sentinel, a weekly newspaper.
