John Alan McPherson (December 30, 1941 - December 21, 2007) was an American cinematographer, film director, and screenwriter. He was born on December 30, 1941, in Los Angeles. He began working in films and television as a gaffer in the mid-1960s. He worked as director of photography for television series as Kojak (1977), The Incredible Hulk (1978), Darkroom (1981), Voyagers!
