Before striking off on her own, Barbara Farber earned a living by sketching sewing patterns for Margriet magazine and making paper dresses. But once she made the leap, she quickly began to draw people’s attention with her designs.
Sep 25, 2009 · Barbara, 54, has held leadership roles in the nonprofit world for nearly 25 years, serving on a number of local, regional and national boards. She is currently an endowment associate for the S.F.-based Jewish Family and Children’s Services.
