Paul Brokaw is an expert on integrated circuit design who has spent most of his career at Analog Devices, where he holds the position of Analog Fellow. He is the inventor of many analog IC circuits, including the Brokaw bandgap reference and holds over 100 patents.
Biography. A. Paul Brokaw (M'73–SM'82–F'91–LF'05) was born in Minneapolis, MN, in 1935. He received the B.S. degree in physics from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. He spent his early years investigating flashlight workings and disemboweling toasters.
